Page 3 model Kimberley Miners inches closer to being Jihadi bride

The 47-year old White Widow, who is originally from Chatham, Kent, has been a guitarist of the all-girl band Krunch before terrorist Junaid Hussain married her off in Syria.

Following the death of her husband, who was the leader of the Islamic State's (IS) "digi-jihad" hacking brigade, in a drone strike last year, Jones has continued participating in the extremist group's activities.

The White Widow has become the face of British women girls who converted to Islam and became wives of the caliphate's fighters.

Within this context, Kimberley Miners is closely treading the same path that has brought indoctrinated girls to Syria. The former Page 3 model has been in the limelight following an American researcher's warning that a female terrorist could strike next because officials are not taking the threat posed by unsuspecting women jihadists.

Miners is believed to have hooked up with a suspected ISIS recruiter identified as Abu Usama Al-Britani whose social media accounts had already been shut down.

The transformation of the 27-year-old former model, who had posed topless for The Sun, has started back in 2010 when she converted to Islam after her father's death.

Police investigators unveiled that Miners also worked as a traffic warden in her hometown in West Yorkshire where her bosses got furious when she let erring drivers off from being fined.

In 2009, she has also been employed as a road sweeper for the Bradford City Council. The ex-Page 3 girl, who now goes by the name Aisha Lauren Al-Britaniya, has already been questioned by security services. It has also been observed that she prefers to wear Western attires rather than donning traditional Islamic dresses.

Speaking to Dipesh Gadher and Jonathan Corke from the Sunday Times, Miners shares that she found peace in Islam. She has gone to Turkey twice and ended up at refugee camps close to the Syrian border. However, she insisted that she only travels to the area for charity work.
