Dark Souls 3 DLC launching set on Oct. 25

According to an article at Christian Today, the upcoming DLC is the first expansion of the "Dark Souls 3," an action role playing game that was created by FromSoftware and eventually published by Bandai Namco worldwide.

This new upgrade will be titled "Ashes of Ariandel."

When asked for comments, Bandai Namco was quoted by GameSpot saying, "Players will find themselves steeped in a brand new environment filled with terrifying new enemies, challenges and exciting lore to expand the overarching Dark Souls 3 storyline."

The DLC will have a new location believed to be called "The Frozen Land of Ariandel," where a terrible secret is hidden for players to uncover. The players will also be involved with a face off against evil and discover the cause of the area's devastation.

Just last week, the trailer of the new location "Ashes of Ariandel" was released. It presented a frozen region that GameSpot described as similar to the Painted World of Artemis.

It also revealed that the game already includes an antagonist similar to the Crow Demon and Yorksha who looks like the ruler of the Painted World Priscilla.

The trailer also comes with an official description "Ashen Ones... Enter this new world covered by snow and defeat the evil that has defiled this land. Grab a hold of the new armor sets, weapons, and magic that are available in Dark Souls III: Ashes of Ariandel to aid you in discovering the new location. For the veterans of Dark Souls PVP, explore the new features and test your meddle with your fellow players."

"Dark Souls 3: Ashes of Ariandel" is expected to be released on Oct. 25 in versions that are compatible with the Windows PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
