The movie was selected to open the Venice Film Festival and premiere in the highly-popular Patron Preview slot at the Telluride Film Festival. On both occasions, the movie did not disappoint, even receiving two mid-movie ovations and one ovation towards the end during its premiere in the Telluride Film Festival.
Aside from the acting and surprisingly good singing prowess of Ryan Reynold and Emma Stone, no one can deny that their sizzling hot on-screen chemistry is the culprit behind the magnificence of the "La La Land".

OK Magazine! revealed that the Mendez was the one who proposed to Gosling, finally ditching her disbelief of marriage. The actress supposedly realized how short life was after her brother died after suffering cancer but more importantly, just wanted to be a good role model to her two daughters.
The 35-year-old heartthrob, on the other hand, is very much happy with life with his three beautiful girls.
