iPhone 7: Everything you need to know about it

As expected, Apple launched its newest flagship phone in its Sept. 7 event in San Francisco.

Although the company was mum on launching any device on its invite-only event, everyone has already expected the unveiling of the new iPhone 7.

Thanks to online leaks and common knowledge that Apple has the habit of launching new iPhones every September. Nevertheless, everyone remained excited about what Apple has in store for us.

Even more when Apple CEO Tim Cook took the center stage and described iPhone 7 as the world's most advanced smartphone and the best iPhone yet.

It takes Apple's immense technology to make the. Is iPhone 7 really what Apple is saying and claiming it to be?

iPhone 7 looks like its two predecessors, iPhones 6 and 6S, in terms of physical appearance minus the 3.5mm headphone jack. Apple provided an alternative options - its wireless Airpods, Lightning adapter for any 3.5 mm earphone, and new stereo speaker system.

The newest iPhone is available in Gold and Rose Gold. Two new colors were introduced - Jet Black and Matte Black - that are not available in previous models.

More notably, iPhone 7 has the most vivid and colorful display compared to all iPhones ever. It is powered by A10 Fusion Chip, making it twice faster than iPhone 6 with the longest battery life.

Apple has also joined the bandwagon or to put it in a better way, complied with IP67 standards, and made their first and only water and dust resistant iPhone.

Camera is great too with a 12 MP rear camera and 7 MP front camera (great for high-definition FaceTime), wider f/1.8 aperture lens, TrueTone flash with more LEDs (50 percent more light) and anti-flicker for shutter adjustment.

iPhone 7 Plus has a Telephoto lens (apart from the standard, wide-angle lens) with great zooming quality. The Plus version of the iPhone 7 can also make use of the two lenses to capture better images comparable to images produced by professional cameras.

By the looks of it, iPhone 7 may just claim the title, proving Tim Cook right, all along.
