The release of OnePlus 3 device this year has been intended to solidify, if not to enhance, the company's fan base.
Aside from putting together an attractive design to go with new specifications and software features, OnePlus 3 has been included in a handful of units that will be available to the 7.0 Nougat program.
It must be noted that android fans are always on the lookout for new systems which will enhance the functional capabilities of their devices.
Considering that this is an initial and unofficial rollout, shortcomings may come with the process. Developers will not be liable for any corruption that may transpire.
In a capsule, the Nougat system still allows the installation of Google Play applications. Bluetooth and GPS capabilities remain functional. However, the phone's call feature is deactivated. It is also very important to note that battery life will be very poor. The camera can't be used. Dash Charge and Alert Slider are both decommissioned.
Despite all the flaws, many will still proceed with the acquisition of the 7.0 Nougat build which is why it is always necessary to create a backup for existing files prior to jumping to the Operating System (OS) update.
Necessary steps are essential to the process of completing the download.
First, copy the CM14 ROM file and Gapps package to the device's internal storage. It will actually make a difference later to know where the system is saved. Second, a custom recovery feature like TWRP or CWM should be installed. Next, boot into recovery mode and backup data on your current ROM. Fourth, Select wipe and do a swipe to factory reset.
Then return to the main menu of TWRP recovery and select install. Sixth, go to the location where the CM14 ROM zip file is and select it. Swipe to confirm flash on the bottom of the screen. Then wait for the process to complete. After the ROM is flashed, flash the Gapps package. Finally, go to recovery's main menu and reboot.
After installing 7.0 Nougat, there are systems on the device that show marked improvement. The basic Nougat UI will working with multi-window and quick settings. Animations are dramatized and improved. The O-Click will be in play. Fingerprint sensor is functional and finally, phone boot is faster compared to Marshmallow.
