It is known to the fans of "Supernatural" that it is the longest-running series in the history of The CW. It was being speculated that the series will come to an end soon, but in a recent interview, Ackles and Padalecki revealed that they are hopeful that they will be able to make the mark with 300 episodes. Well, this implies that the finale season will be Season 14, but it will have only 13 episodes, unlike the others that have 23 episodes.
This is surely great news for fans as after Season 12, there are two more seasons to go!
Coming to "Supernatural" Season 12, reports suggest, that it is none other than Aaron Bass who will return to help the brothers fight Adolf Hitler. Bass first appeared in "Supernatural" Season 8 in an episode titled, "Everybody loves Hitler." Notably, Bass' grandfather Isaac Bass was a member of the secret Judah Initiative and he had passed on a Golem to his grandson.
Now, the organization of which Isaac Bass was a member had rabbis as its members and this secret organization is in conflict with another organization, the Thule Society that comprised of Nazi occultists. The master plan of the Thule Society is to get back Hitler and the upcoming season will see them bringing back Hitler with their magical experiments. Just like his grandfather, Aaron is also a member of the secret organization and he will come to help Sam and Dean fight Hitler.
Showrunner, Andrew Dabb has also revealed in a recent interview that Adam Rose will be back reprising his role as Aaron Bass.
He further revealed that a lot of interesting stuff will unfold in "Supernatural" Season 12 and this includes some focus on Castiel, played by Misha Collins. It is speculated that Castiel's past as an angel will also be revealed in the upcoming season.
