Maddie Ziegler leaves Dance Moms, has outgrown show

There's no denying that Maddie Ziegler was able to capture the limelight, thanks to her show "Dance Moms." But with the return of the show's Season 7, she will no longer be one of the casts. Fans are clueless on the reason until the star finally breaks her silence.

Everyone was shocked upon learning that Maddie and Mackenzie Ziegler will no longer appear in the said show. For people who watched "Dance Moms" right from the very start, this news looks like the end of an era.

Bustle.com said it was in the show where Maddie's talent was introduced to the public and the start of her blossoming career in TV.

Who could forget the moment the young star, at the age of 8, surprised the viewers with her remarkable solos like "Cry"?

Her performances were not obviously ignored as she was asked by Sia to dance with her while making her the youngest judge in "So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation." Simply, Dance Moms molded Maddie into what she is now. But still, fans are so eager to know the reason of her departure.

In her interview with Hollywoodlife.com, Maddie said it was not after all easy to leave the show to pursue a great deal of opportunities and offers. She added that being in the show was already getting stressful as she had also some other engagements like shooting for "The Book of Henry" and performing live with Sia.

She also shared about her dance instructor, Abby Miller.

"She's definitely exactly how she is on the show! But the thing that I like about her most is she can actually be funny sometimes. And she also wanted me to be good. It's nice that she paid a lot of attention to me, but it would be a little embarrassing because Abby would sometimes say, 'Maddie's the best so you need to do the move like her.' And then my friends would get a little mad. And I understand that, because they just want to be themselves, not try to be me. I feel like I had so much more pressure on me to be the best in the room," she said about Miller.

Even if Maddie Ziegler did not say it explicitly, fans can only think that she already outgrown the show and needs to move on with other opportunities.

Indeed, "Dance Moms" deserves the credit for introducing Maddie Ziegler in the industry but if there are opportunities knocking at her door, then maybe she can take advantage of these and make the most out of them.
