Is it goodbye to Hollywood? Brad Pitt may no longer be around to pick up the many rumours of his impending divorce with Angelina Jolie. And even if that happens, it may not even interest the fickle audience so much anymore.
The latest rumours whisper that the "actor will invest in a $1.5 billion dollar eco-friendly resort in Croatia." Recently, the 52-year-old was spotted on a boat cruise near the Biograd and Sibenik coastline.
For long, he has dropped hints that he is no longer interested in Hollywood and filmmaking. He and his wife have kept away from the spotlight---unless they were thrust into it, which happened often due to rumors of their impending 'will-they-won't-they divorce rumors.
Critics speculate that he is retiring as he may not earn the popularity and meaty film roles that actors like Ben Affleck and George Clooney are receiving. He feels that his days are numbered.
His last film with Angelina, "By The Sea," was battered last year, and he probably does not want to repeat such films, as he may slip into making mediocre movies. Although his wife will stick on, he will be halfway out of the door, as he had mentioned many years ago that he might retire at the age of 50, but is already 52.
Meanwhile, the Brangelina divorce rumors still roll in the till, although the couple is not bothered about it. "Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's marriage isn't your typical Hollywood union," the outlet continued. Says the usually acerbic celebritylaundry: "Brangelina has a reputation to uphold as Hollywood's golden couple and that's why they are working hard to avoid a divorce despite speculation that the passion in their sex lives has long evaporated."
And as usual, Gossip Cop has dismissed all such rumors, such as the Marion Cotillard affair. "Much like that flagrant fabrication, the latest about them desperately trying to avoid divorce is also untrue."
