All of which will play a tremendous impact on the development of a murder case filed against Stephen Avery and his nephew and co-defendant Brendan Dassey.

The first season of Making A Murdered premiered on December 18, 2015, in Netflix which explored the life and wrongful conviction of Avery who served 18 years in prison for the sexual assault and attempted murder of Penny Beernsten. She posted on her Twitter account, "Crucial witnesses coming forward now - as they always do when new scientific testing sought. Science, not spin will rule."

These vital witnesses that Zellner claimed provide the follower of the series with high hopes for truth to come out. There is, however, no information released to the public regarding these witnesses, cite Morning Ledger.

Along with new witnesses, a new local counsel, Steven Richardson, would be joining the legal team of Avery that consists of Kathleen Zellner, Tricia Bushnell, and Douglas Johnson.
