The withdrawal of Special Agent Tony DiNozzo (Michael Weatherly) from the previous season of "NCIS" definitely initiated a twist of poignant and tear-jerking scenarios, which resulted in a question mark for the upcoming seasons of the crime based spectacle.
Season 13 of "NCIS" was full of disclosures and nail-biting themes, which included Fornell being involved in a life-threatening condition after being ambushed at Gibb's place. Other than that, First Lady Michelle Obama made a surprise entry in the 22nd episode titled as Homefront, which was an initiative to support the Joining Forces and the families of military and army veterans.
The forthcoming Season 14 will start where it left off.
Fornell, who had a near-death experience was seen grave after being shot, will be requiring ample time for the healing process and therefore, it is maintained that the upcoming season will pay emphasis on the recovery phase and viewers will witness how Gibbs has a new roommate!
"Fornell is living with Gibbs as he's recuperating [from his wounds]," Glasberg teased. "Be prepared, because it's some wonderful, light, funny stuff," the EP teased of "NCIS" Season 14.
As per the spoilers, Fornell will be dwelling with Gibbs as part of his recovery process, which will definitely bring in new elements of light and pleasant comedy, necessary after a roller-coaster conclusion of Season 13.
Regardless of DiNozzo's exit from the series, Gary Glasberg, the marvel behind the spectacle is hoping for a replacement. And as per the leaked information, Alex Quinn (Jennifer Esposito) as a Federal Law Enforcement Training Centre instructor will be making an entry to the show soon, therefore, filling in the spot for DiNozzo.
Other than that, fans will also witness new faces and interesting characters, adding spice to the show. Wilmer Valderrama will be portrayed as agent Nick Torres, who went on a mission and returned after being missing for a very long time.
NCIS Season 14 is slated to air on Tuesday, Sept. 20 on CBS.
