One Punch Man Season 2 Spoilers, News & Updates: Saitama losing his punch power?

Following the international and local success of its first installment, fans highly anticipating One Punch Man Season 2

Earlier reports stated that the producers and creators of One Punch Man would hit release button once the English-dubbed episodes of the said action-comedy anime series end in Toonami.

This news, however, remains unconfirmed as there is no official announcement yet regarding the release date of One Punch Man Season 2. It seems that fans need to wait longer, rumors suggest that the anime will be delayed because it still lacks source material from the manga.

Aside from One Punch Man Season 2 air date, there are also several speculations circulating online regarding its storyline. As per the report of-of iTech Post, One Punch Man Season 2 will include an arc where Saitama will lose his incredible punch power.

Saitama is the lead character and known as the strongest hero for defeating monsters and villains with just a single punch. He trained for three years to be this powerful, losing his hair and turning bald on the process. Although Saitama possesses immense power, many look down on him because of his weird physical appearance. With his unhuman-like strength, Saitama is undefeatable but in One Punch Man Season 2, as reports suggest, this power is likely to vanish rendering him vulnerable to his enemies.

Avid manga readers, however, are quick to pint out that such storyline is non-existent in the manga series. One Punch Man was inspired by a manga which in turn was based on a webcomic created by ONE. Manga readers claimed that such arc had not been introduced yet as Saitama keeps his power until the latest chapter. This, however, can happen depends on the development of the manga or unless One Punch Man Season 2 is developing a new storyline that is entirely different from the manga.

So what do you think, is it possible for Saitama to lose his power? Does this mean that One Punch Man Season 2 will diverge away from the manga? Or are the writers also developing this kind of storyline?

Let's hope that all these questions will be answered after official details have released this September.

So buckle up and stay tuned for more updates!
