Thankfully, the 31-year-old is doing fine and well. This is the fifth time Lil Wayne has been the subject of a death hoax. Just a couple weeks ago, rumors surfaced that he had passed away from a seizure. The hoax was the result of a tasteless viral video titled "R.I.P. - Rapper Lil Wayne Found Dead." The video didn't sit well with many of the rapper's fans because he revealed in an interview with Los Angeles radio station Power 106 that he epilepsy.
Earlier in the year, he was in and out of the hospital following a string of seizures. In March, he had three seizures at once and had to be rushed to Cedars-Sinai Hospital.
"The bad news is I'm an epileptic, I'm prone to seizures," he told radio station. "Like, this isn't my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh seizure."
"I don't feel anything. [When] I'm 100, I just hope it stops happening," he added. "I go to sleep and wake up in the hospital. No warning, no nothing. I don't feel sick. I get headaches real bad."
Lil Wayne hasn't responded to the latest death hoax but tweeted to his Twitter followers wishing everyone a happy holiday.
