Sony Xperia X: Specs, features and price; Is it worth buying?

Seems like Sony are a sinking ship or at least that's what analysts foresee for their failure in attracting mobile consumers to their camp. Sony is hilarious pricing but not very much in features.

Let's analyze how this 450£ phone compete with others.

Sony's Xperia X doesn't really fall into the "flagship camp" due to various reasons. Even though Sony claims that the Xperia X has a killer camera and also able to track objects in space with their latest technology, it's still highly debatable that Sony will ever be able to market about 100k units of this phone.

However, if you're a Sony fan, then we have some gloomy news.

Priced at 450£, it's still a flagship in terms of pricing only due to the fact that most of the competitors have released better products for the same price point.

Sony's also going big on design on Xperia X, curving the glass into the sides of the phone to bring a more smooth and refined appearance to things. The X still brings the bar design that's a feature of the Xperia range but it doesn't make the phone stand out as a striking device when you pick it up for the first time.

The placement of the volume keys are not really ideal since they're placed really just below the fingerprint scanner.

In terms of specifications, it's about 5.6-inches in size. Weighing around just slightly about 150gms, users will be able to opt for either a single SIM or dual-SIM with the SIM standards being nano.

The screen panel however is an IPS LCD with about 5.0 inches in display dimensions with a full-HD 441pixel oleo phobic coated display which is also scratch resistant. Sony as usual have put a triluminos display.

The users will enjoy Android v6.0.1 marshmallow out of the box with planned upgrade to the newly announced Android Nougat.

A Snapdragon 650 powered by Adreno 510 powers the phone with the help of 3GB memory. With in-built 32/64GB of on-board storage, you can also expand it up to 256GB with the help of the hybrid slot(dual-SIM trays).

The camera is a 23MP rear sensor with an LED flash. There's also a secondary front-facing 13MP f/2.0 aperture camera which can shoot fHD videos at 30fps. A battery capacity of about 2600mAh will juice the phone.

There's also Fast charging capabilities thanks to Qualcomm's quick charge 2.0 technology.
