You may not be Scorpio, but Oppiuchus; NASA changes the zodiac chart and adds a new sign

If you thought you were a Scorpio, then you'd better be prepared for an identity makeover to Oppiuchus, if your birth chart falls in its new category.

The first alien 'attack' is probably targeting your zodiac signs. A discovery of new interstellar spaces and bodies has prompted NASA to change your zodiac signs completely, even adding a new constellation called Oppiuchus!

Earlier in 2016, NASA scientists just quietly declared that they were going to redesign the zodiac system and did it without further discussions or delay. They slotted new dates to every sign. For a year, you may have just walked around unaware of your identity crisis, but now that it is clear, you just have to get used to the new shift.

The cause of this 'alien attack' is that the Earth is different from what it was during the time of the Babylonians. "Now, 3,000 years later, the sky has shifted because Earth's axis (North Pole) doesn't point in quite the same direction," the NASA explanation says.

Apparently, the Babylonians discarded the 13th sign because they wanted to match the 12-month calendar with 12 zodiac signs. It was NASA that had to step in for the quick fix.

However, is NASA getting into astrology?

Actually not. According to NASA spokesperson, Dwayne Brown, "NASA studies astronomy, not astrology."

If you look at the real NASA page, "The Space Place," you find a cartoon version of the Curiosity rover for children, explaining all about the zodiac signs, only in order to make it clear. This page does not show the zodiac chart, but a banner headline that announces: "First Things First: Astrology Is Not Astronomy!"

NASA simply explains that the zodiac signs were made up 3,000 years ago by the Babylonians. But now the position of those constellations has shifted, even as the Earth's axis shakes a bit. Hence, the entire star chart shows different spots altogether.

"We didn't change any Zodiac signs, we just did the math," Brown clarifies. "The Space Place article was about how astrology is not astronomy, how it was a relic of ancient history, and pointed out the science and math that did come from observations of the night sky."

To come back to the non-NASA interpretation of the new Oppiuchius, this zodiac sign points to those who were born between November 29 and December 17. Your symbol is a man with a snake, and the character traits include a person who likes to search for knowledge and is envied by all his peers!

Now if you do not believe it, just feed it to the dogs---or the Aliens.

But if you do believe in it, then here is the chart that spells out the character traits of everyone. The personality chart, though, has not been prepared by NASA, but by the soothsayers.

You can see what they say if your zodiac sign is changed, and what you are supposed to be, according to the new map:

Aries: April 18 - May 13. The Ram: courageous, passionate, impulsive

Taurus: May 13 - June 21. The Bull: reliable, devoted, stubborn

Gemini: June 21 - July 20. The Twins: curious, gentle, indecisive

Cancer: July 20 - Aug 10. The Crab: imaginative, sympathetic, manipulative

Leo: Aug 10 - Sept 16. The Lion: cheerful, generous, arrogant

Virgo: Sept 16 - Oct 30. The Virgin: analytical, hardworking, shy

Libra: Oct 30 - Nov 23. The Scales: social, fair-minded, self-pitying

Scorpio: Nov 23 - Nov 29. The Scorpion: resourceful, brave, distrusting

Ophiuchus: Nov 29 - Dec 17. The Serpent Bearer: Knowledge-seeking, admired, envied

Sagittarius: Dec 17 - Jan 20. The Centaur: idealistic, humorous, impatient

Capricorn: Jan 20 - Feb 16. The Goat: disciplined, responsible, condescending

Aquarius: Feb 16 - March 11. The Water Bearer: independent, humanitarian, temperamental

Pisces: March 11 - April 18. The Fish: artistic, compassionate, weak-willed

Does this all seem a bit too much? Perhaps. But apart from the star change, you need to change your beliefs and mindset too. That would be an attack not by Aliens, but by you---on your own mind!
