The original Gravity Rush was a key for the PlayStation Vita. But now, the hit game returns on its second edition on PS4.
Engadget reported that people have been spotted playing the demo for Gravity Rush 2 at the Tokyo Game Show, with many reporting that it feels like a much bigger game in many respects compared to its much-lauded predecessor. The original Gravity Rush was well-received for being a PS Vita original - it isn't merely a portable version of an existing game in Sony's signature consoles. The game's second coming still enables players to play the main character Kat - known for her gravity-defying moves that provides for a highly-enthralling experience.
Intuitiveness is at the heart of Gravity Rush 2's gameplay experience, as players get to hover around various towns. Fight sequences within the game remain simple yet enjoyable, with Kat having the ability to battle against blobs from other dimensions. The black blobby aliens, which are marked with weak spots in red, still exist thanks to the original game's transition to its second edition via an interdimensional disruption.
However, unlike the original Gravity Rush, the new game features a few more powerful enemies - from brawlers with healing powers and angels with crystal wings, to militaries with gigantic mechs and sophisticated battle suits designed to counter any gravity-defying force. That surely adds to the game's feel-good thrilling factor. Much is to be expected as well from the new Gravity Rush, what with its release on the PS4 - obviously an indicator that it can provide more than its handheld predecessor. Enhanced graphics aside, the introduction of all-new gravity move styles - Jupiter and Luna, ensures that the new game will be an entirely improved experience.
Gravity Rush 2 will be available on the PS4 late this year. Players in the US and the UK can get their hands on the much-coveted release on December 2, while the rest of Europe gets the chance to get the game days earlier on November 30.
