F1 superstar and legend Michael Schumacher's health condition remains an uncertainty. Following a skiing accident last December 29, 2013 at the French Alps that almost killed him, the German car racing champ's condition is still doubtful.
According to the Daily Star, a German magazine Bunte earlier published that the 47-year-old race car driver can walk again following a lengthy rehabilitation period. However, the driver's lawyer quickly scrapped the claims and have taken the publication to court.
Lawyers revealed during a hearing on Friday that the car driver still "cannot walk" even with the help of a therapist. Michael's legal team also asked everyone to give the driver privacy, particularly regarding his health condition.
Earlier reports also say that Mr. Schumacher's manager Sabine Kehm issued a statement clarifying his condition. "I have never spoken to them", she said on a Spanish news outlet via online translation.
"We have no direct connection."
"We have issued no official statement on Michael's health," Kehm added.
Michael Schumacher's wife Corinna and their two children, Mick and Gina-Maria, are still optimistic that the F1 driver will fully recover. Schumi's source of love and support not only comes from his family. As reported by Parent Herald, ever since the hashtag #KeepFightingMichael was launched last November 2014 on social media, fans all over the world have sent their love and support for the embattled driver.
As of this writing, the hashtage has generated 114,135 tweets already. The numbers keep on rising - a sign that fans remain positive that their idol will come out as a winner in his health ordeal.
Michael Schumacher is a world renowned F1 race car driver. He is a seven-time Formula One World Champion and was named Laureus World Sportsman of the Year twice. He also holds many of Formula One's driver records, including most championships, fastest laps, pole positions, race victories, and most races won in a single season.
Currently, Schumi is recovering at his family estate in Geneva, Switzerland since he was released from hospital.
