The Joker's predecessor will not be a part of "Gotham" Season 3, but on the bright side, Naian Gonzalez Norvind has been cast as Alice Tetch. Also, FOX finally released the official plot description of the premiere episode "Mad City - Better to Reign in Hell."
Cameron Monaghan, who plays the role of Jerome Valeska, will not be a part of "Gotham" Season 3. According to TV Guide, executive producer Ken Woodruff confirmed that Monaghan will not be back this season since he is currently filming scenes for "Shameless" Season 7.
Other than that, Naian Gonzalez Norvind has officially landed a role in the third installment of "Gotham". Comic Book Movie has learned that the Mexican actress will portray the role of Alice Tetch. Alice happens to be Dr. Jervis 'The Mad Hatter' Tetch's (Benedict Samuel) younger sister.
She possesses superpowers that she can't control by which, Jervis Tetch, sees it as a gift rather than a curse. Alice sees it the other way around that is why she grew up a loner and her only friend and partner in the world is her brother.
Norvind's character will debut in Episode 3.
As for the official plot synopsis of "Gotham" Season 3 premiere episode, International Business Times noted, "James Gordon (Ben McKenzie) works in a monster-ridden Gotham as a bounty hunter and seeks to find Fish Mooney (Jada Pinkett Smith) for answers about the Indian Hill escapees - and why their powers appear to be killing them.
Meanwhile, Bruce Wayne's (David Mazouz) doppelganger roams the streets while Barbara Kean (Erin Richards) and Tabitha Galavan (Jessica Lucas) open a new nightclub called The Sirens."
"Gotham" Season 3 Episode 1 is entitled as "Mad City - Better to Reign in Hell". The newest season will premiere on Monday, Sep. 19, at 8:00 p.m. first and exclusive on FOX Network.
