Lee Jong Hyun, Gong Seung Yeon working again in time-travel K-drama series

Former onscreen couple Lee Jong Hyun and Gong Seung Yeon will reunite in an upcoming K-drama series. FNC Entertainment has finally released the official plot description of Episode 1.

CNBlue's Lee Jong Hyun and Gong Seung Yeon will officially be working together again in "My Only Love Song".

With that being said, All K-Pop has cited FNC Entertainment's official statement, "Lee Jong Hyun and Gong Seung Yeon have been cast as the main leads of pre-filmed drama 'My Only Love Song'."

Gong Seung Yeon will play as top star named Song Soo Jung, who believes money is the answer to everything. In the drama, she travels back in time and meets Lee Jong Hyun or Ohn Dal, who is also a money-crazed character."

According to Soompi, Lee Jong Hyun will portray the role of On Dal, who happens to be a money-driven man. His character is described as ambitious but sweet and caring to people who are tougher than him

On the other hand, Gong Seung Yeon will play the role of Song Su Jeong, an arrogant pop star who has a perspective that money determines the rankings of people and love. Her character made a time-travel to the past.

As for the official plot synopsis of "My Only Love Song" premiere episode, Asian Wikia notes, "Song Su Jeong (Kong Seung-Yeon) is a top star and she is very arrogant.

She classifies people by how much money they have. Suddenly, she goes back in time to the Joseon era and meets On Dal (Lee Jong-Hyun). He will do anything to make money, but in fact, he is generous to the weak and poor."

"My Only Love Song" is FNC Ad Culture's very first Korean drama. The upcoming K time-travel themed drama series is scheduled to be premiere around February 2017.
