Further details on controversies surrounding the divorce of former celebrity couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie continue to unfold, as reports indicate that Pitt is "furious" over Jolie's handling of the divorce.
According to a report in Telegraph, Pitt is concerned about the impact of the divorce to their children. A source cited by the Telegraph said that Pitt is worried that Jolie might put the kids at risk because of the way the actress handled the divorce. Pitt is now focusing on battling his former wife's request for sole custody of their kids.
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were once a golden celebrity couple. They are just like the usual king and queen that many normally saw in movies and fairy tales. Great looks, successful careers, lovable children. Many thought that their relationship would end up in a happy ending, just like what the normal fairytales would end.
But the once-dubbed "Brangelina" couple shocked the world when Jolie filed a divorce last Monday. TMZ reported that the main reasons for the divorce include anger problems, use of substance and issues connected to raising their kids.
According to Inquisitr, when Jolie filed the legal documents on Monday, she requested for sole custody of their six kids. In said request, Brad Pitt will be given visitation rights instead of joint physical custody.
The former celebrity couple have 3 biological children - Shiloh, 10 years old, and twins Knox and Vivienne, both eight years old. They also have three adopted children - Maddox (15) from Cambodia, Pax (12) from Vietnam and Zahara (11) from Ethiopia.
Jolie addresses a statement about the divorce through her attorney, Robert Offer, saying, "This decision was made for the health of the family."
On the other hand, Brad Pitt also released a statement to PEOPLE, saying that his main focus is in the "well-being of our kids."
