Survivor is back again once more on the small screen as Wednesday aired its premiere episode for its Season 33 with its own 'Battle of the Generations'.
The two tribes are called Vanua and Takali and are also called as the Millennials and the Gen X respectively. The two tribes battled it out in the season's premiere in hopes of winning the $1 million cash prize.
Survivor Season 33 is More than Just an Old Versus Young Game
According to Jeff Probst, the new theme that Survivor Season 33 will have is an interesting one as it is not just about the old fellas fighting against the younger kids. It is more than that as it dwells more on the differences in their perspectives, upbringing, and overall social norms.
Tensions are once again on the rise as Paul, the oldest member of the new season says that he grew up in an environment where rewards are not that popular.
On the other hand, CeCe, a member of the Gen X tribe says that it is a weird thing to see the Millenials or the older people get to work physically. But Adam who is from the Millenials believes the other way around and that his tribe is wiser and that he is very confident that the Millenials will win the immunity challenge.
Rachel is a little bit pessimistic when it comes to winning the prize as she shows her doubts of being a productive member of the tribe. David also was the one to get the first vote, giving him a big relief. Unfortunately, Rachel was voted off by the players having received five total votes.
Surely, with these occurrences and tensions starting to make way into the lives and fates of the Survivors, things will surely be more interesting in the next Survivor Season 33 episodes to come.
