NBA trade rumors and speculations of a high profile deal is reported to be underway. Derrick Rose and Kristaps Porzingis is reported to go to the Washington Wizards, John Wall and Otto Porter to the Los Angeles Clippers and Chris Paul goes to the New York Knicks.
With this trade, it should be noted that the Knicks is likely to lose a potential superstar with Porzingis gone. However, the team may still have a chance to become a contender with the partnership between Paul and Carmelo Anthony.
According to Asia Starz, there are rumors that state that Wall and Bradley Beal had major compatibility issues since the Wizards signed the latter to a whopping five-year deal. If the two won't manage their relationship inside the court, then the team would be better off with Rose doing the point guard tasks. Aside from that, Porzingis also provides the team to acquire the better end of the deal.
It was also reported that Paul moving to the Knicks will also be beneficial for the team since the move of Rose and Porzingis are causing some potential problems to the team. It was said that Porzingis is feared to ask a higher salary while Rose is prone to injuries.
Paul going to the Knicks will also depend on what would cost the team is Rose becomes injured again in the middle of the season. When that happens, Paul will become a valuable asset.
Parent Herald reported that the Rose moving to the Wizards is something new considering that the NBA star is currently involved in a rape case. It was earlier reported that the woman has alleged Rose and two more men raped her in 2010 and a civil complaint was filed in Los Angeles in 2015.
The woman is now asking $21.5 million in damages. She claimed that Rose and his two friends drugged her drink before raping her.
