Abigail Spencer's return has sparked rumors that she will fill in Gina Torres' exit in "Suits" Season 6. Aside from that, series creator Aaron Korsh revealed what fans should expect in the 2nd half of the series.
Despite Gina Torres' confirmed exit, series creator and executive producer Aaron Korsh is still hopeful that Jessica Lourdes Pearson will come back. According to International Business Times, Korsh opened up that the 47-year old American TV and movie actress is still welcome to return to the show even as a guest star.
In line with this, Abigail Spencer has been tagged to fill in Gina Torres' role. New reports indicate that the 35-year-old American actress will reprise her role as Dana 'Scottie' Scott.
Such speculations sparked since Scottie and Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) had a chemistry with his ex-girlfriend.
Aside from that, Korsh discussed via The Hollywood Reporter on what fans should expect when "Suits" Season 6 returns,
"We're picking up right where we usually do, where we left off. Had we gone with that other ending we would have picked up years later; it would have been too devastating not to. But as it is now, all of these characters have a lot going on. Mike has to figure out what he's going to do," he said.
"Harvey, Louis and the firm have to figure out what they are going to do logistically and who is going to run the place. In addition to that, what are they going to do when the woman who has kept them from the sort of killing each other all these years leaves? The last six is about that."
Season 6 is currently on a long hiatus and is expected to return February 2017.
"Suits" is an American legal drama TV series created and written by Aaron Korsh.
