Adidas YEEZY Boost 350 V2 sold out; Kayne West shows new color

YEEZY Boost 350 V2 , the latest among this famed collection brought about by the collaboration between rapper Kayne West and Adidas was launched worldwide last Saturday, Sept. 24 for around $220 per pair.

While it has been predicted to generate more sales, the "STEGRY/BELUGA/SOLRED" colorway of the YEEZY Boost 350 V2 was sold out two days after its launch, according to the website of the sportswear giant.

The company also advised its customers to check local retailers for the availability of this particular style.

CNBC reported that in Singapore, Asia's vibrant shopping hub, the hype for the launching of this new model is high, such that a pair was priced at 349 Singapore dollars for every pair.

CNBC added that while the launch stems from the YEEZY Boost model in 2015, this is the first time that neon colors have been combined for this particular line.

According to The Stuff, fans of Kayne West spent the past three days lining up just to get hold of the sneakers designed by the music icon.

There are only about 30 pairs released in a store for every YEEZY launch such that the sale of its new model is based on a raffle.

With the overwhelming success and sale of the STEGRY/BELUGA/SOLRED" colorway, West reportedly made a surprise appearance in a music festival in Chicago showing off a new and unreleased color of the YEEZY Boost 350 V2 style. This new pair features black and white stripes similar to that belonging to a zebra. It also comes with white laces.

Aside from being a musician and record producer, West has also become popular due to his style and creations. Quite unknown to many, Kayne previously worked with the big names in the fashion industry like Nike, Giuseppe Zanotti, Bape and Louis Vuitton. He also has founded a creative company, DONDA, and heads GOOD Music, which is a record label.
