It appears that age is just a number for Hollywood's fan-favorite Tom Hanks.
Bouncing back in style, the 60-year-old Hollywood prodigy proved himself again following his latest masterpiece "Sully" hitting the newsstand while dropping jaws at the US box office.
The movie was a complete display of the elements of drama and thrill where Captain Chesley ''Sully'' Sullenberger, played by Tom Hanks, demonstrated utter strength and apt decision-making skills as he led the cabin crew of US airways survived a crash.
Based on a true story, the film replicated the probably deadly incident back in 2009, which led the big bird US Airways Flight 1549 to land in the frosty Hudson River. The bird strike caused the aircraft to bear innumerable damages. But due to the captain's methodical approach, all the 155 souls on the plane were successfully rescued.
The unfortunate aircraft took off and just after three minutes, a flock of geese hit the plane rendering both engines useless for the flight. Captain Sullenberger (Tom Hanks) and co-pilot Jeffery Skiles (Aaron Eckhart) were then left with no option but to land in the icy water over Hudson, allowing them to be a part of the never-ending aviation investigations.
Although the captain accumulated public fame and was applauded on a national level, he is thoroughly probed by the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) led by investigator Charles Porter (Mike O'Malley) who accused him of jeopardizing the lives of 155 passengers as he believed that the plane could have made a safe landing at an airport runway.
The well-depicted drama by Clint Eastwood is classic as it amalgamates legendary acting, an outstanding screenplay and worth-applauding cinematography, making it a wonder of its kind. Purely gripping, the movie renders surprise as it is solely for the aviation enthusiasts as well as for those who seek the elements of investigation throughout the package of entertainment.
Covering various perspectives, the movie on its own servers as a reenactment of the incident that became gravely rampant after Captain Chelsey was declared as the countrywide hero.
