There are rumors that the filming of "The Expendables 4" is in progress and might be hitting the big screens next year. But nobody can confirm yet whether or not Sylvester Stallone would be a part of the upcoming blockbuster.
In an interview, Terry Crews said that he feels like Stallone would probably choose to focus on making another sequel for his recent movie "Creed," where the veteran actor gained nomination for Best Supporting Actor during the Golden Globes.
On the same report, Crews said that Stallone should make up his mind and decide if he's going for "The Expendables 4" or create "Creed 2". He stated, "He should think about what his next move is going to be, what he's going to do. 'Creed' was amazing. It showed his depth and he's a lot deeper than people always give him credit for."
In other news, according to Master Herald, Stallone just recently announced that the upcoming Expendables 4 would have an R rating and would be much bloodier and darker than the first three installments.
Although it is still not confirmed if Stallone will reprise his role, rumor has it that the veteran actor, alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger, has been going around scouting for new additional cast members for the "The Expendables 4."
At first, it was claimed that a lot of big names may be part of "The Expendables 4," such as Nicolas Cage, Jackie Chan, Al Pacino, Bruce Willis, Robert De Niro, Jack Nicholson, Clint Eastwood, and Philippine boxer Manny Pacquiao. But it was not confirmed if these rumored actors would actually be a part of the movie.
The premiere date of "The Expendables 4" is still unknown, although some speculations indicate that the film would probably hit the big screens sometime in 2017.
