Four People Found Killed In Southern California Home

Authorities in southern California discovered four people -- including two children -- killed inside their Fontana home late Monday, the New York Daily News reported.

Officials said they arrived at the scene after a 16-year-old boy who lives in the home called police, saying his family members were either injured or killed. They eventually came across four dead bodies -- a 12-year-old girl, a 10-year-old boy, and an adult man and woman both between the ages of 35 and 40.

Fontana police Chief Rodney Jones told KNBC that the deaths were all homicides.

KABC TV reported that neighbors said the family was made up of the mother, two kids, and their stepfather.

"There is some amounts of blood in different areas of the house," said Fontana police Sgt. Doug Imhof to the local news station. "There's a couple of weapons that have been seen by our detectives just looking, but they haven't been able to search the house because they can't until they obtain a search warrant."

Imhof did not comment on any possible suspects or motives and did not say how the victims were killed. However, a neighbor recalled hearing an argument erupt in the house just hours before the frightening scene was discovered.

The home is located in Fontana, a city located about 50 miles east of Los Angeles with a population of 200,000.
