Dance Moms star Chloe Lukasiak has always been compared to ADLC superstar Maddie Ziegler. Somehow, she has been rated as a runner-up of the latter. But in the new 'Superstore' trailer, the dance star may, finally, be given a solo project and a big break for her career.
In an Instagram videoclip, the 15-year-old actress sports a casual look with less makeup compared to her usual makeup-laden face in Abby Miller dance series. She wears a blue vest with a CLOUD 9 Superstore labelled with "Hi, I'm Chloe" as she paces down the store aisle to arrange the good sold there.
But wait, is the dance star throwing away all her star dancer fame to become a normal teenager and earn extra money in her after-school job?
Definitely not, the video turned out to be a teaser of a new NBC series "Superstore", where she is set to have a cameo in one of its episodes.
"TODAY had a blast working at Cloud9!! Check out the season premiere of @nbcsuperstore on September 22 at 8/7c on NBC! NBC Partner#superstore," she captioned the video clip.
It is rumored that Lukasiak's appearance in Episode 1 said to be released in October.
As to the show's storyline, it has been said that it will start with employees of Cloud 9 going on a strike with the involvement of Amy (America Ferrera) and Jonah (Ben Feldman) who will try to negotiate with corporate Dina (played by Lauren Ash). The purpose of the strike is to reinstall their manager, Glenn (Mark McKinney), in his position.
Well, sources, however, still do not know what Chloe Lukasiak's role will be in the series.
Superstore is just one of the dancer's newest projects. Earlier, she had a cameo in Lifetime's "Center Stage: On Pointe", had an acting gig 'Cowgirl's Story with Bailee Madison,' and is involved in the indie film, 'Loophole.'
"Superstore" will make its first appearance on NBC at 8 p.m. EDT.
