An Indiana woman was arrested for stabbing a man's penis after believing he molested her two-year-old son, USA TODAY reported.
Authorities in Franklin, Ind. detained 35-year-old Bonita Lynn Vela on charges of battery with a deadly weapon and criminal confinement with a deadly weapon.
In a police report, the unidentified 18-year-old that Vela was suspicious of denied any wrongdoing and the concerned mother admitted her worries grew after smoking marijuana, possibly mixed with other drugs.
Vela was accompanied by two other men who helped her trap the 18-year-old male on Saturday, though no other arrests have been made.
He told police he was kept in a trailer for three-and-a-half hours, where Vela reportedly said friends were coming to "take him out." He also said Vela told him he would be tied to a tree, shot in the head, and left for animals to eat.
The mother then told him she would consider letting him leave if he let her cut his penis, he told police. Vela eventually retrieved a box cutter and "cut him deep" right before letting him go.
The victim told officials he was still scared she and her acquaintances would try to come after him and was afraid someone had recorded the incident with a cell phone.
He was taken to a hospital to be treated for his injury and the severity of the attack is unknown.
Vela is currently being held in Johnson County Jail on $28,000 bond.
