While Clash of Clans players are highly excited for the upcoming initial release of the so-called big updates of the game, it seems that they need to wait longer.
As per the report of Parent Herald, the Clash of Clan update was expected to be released this September. The media outlet, however, noted that the month will be ending soon but the update is yet to arrive, hence, the so-called update might not arrive on time and Supercell probably moved the release date to October.
On the other hand, Clash of Clans developer Supercell remains tightlipped about the delay. Whereas it usually released updates on a Tuesday or a Wednesday, the next patch is still not out. This lead fans to speculate that the release date could have been moved to October instead.
The media outlet further noted that Supercell should let the Clash of Clans players know if the developer team is not yet ready to release the game's next patch. The players will surely understand this delay, considering that Supercell has been previously releasing buggy updates which caused big pain for the Clash of Clans gamers. As such, Supercell should take their time in developing worthy updates that would satisfy their fans.
Likewise, as per the report of Game N Guide, a Supercell forum moderator wrote, "The update will here when it's ready. Whether that is September or not, I can't say. Of course, the team will aim to have it roll out as soon as possible but no set date or even month has been stated. My point is this: do not start hype or raise expectations when nothing official has been put out."
Meanwhile, the media outlet speculated that the so-called big update of Clash of Clans will have a feature called "Clan Challenge" wherein clans can now send friendly war requests to any clan online. The upcoming update will further offer more free gems and includes a Town Hall 12.
