Surprise, surprise. Jeremy Vuolo seems almost normal to many, going by most TV watchers of the Duggars.
PerezHilton wrote: "While The Duggars' extreme religious beliefs are what set them apart from other famous families, it's their combined levels of social awkwardness that really make them reality TV gold."
Why is social awkwardness so golden? Perhaps it is the morbid fascination with anything that is odd, eccentric and really becomes a little more 'normal' than most when it breaks the mould.
To the Duggar reality show nuts, the long list of sex scandals has not really put off a lot of people. The parents, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar do seem a litte rattled - but then they are weird and eccentric too.
At least that is what Jeremy Vuolo, Jinger's soccer star fiancé, seems to think. He is probably vocalising what a lot of people think.
On Tuesday night's all-new Jill & Jessa: Counting On, Jinger Duggar got back with Jeremy after a long separation of weeks.
Jim Bob and Michelle too managed to meet when they dropped in at Laredo, Texas, following a couple of months after their children's courtship.
Jeremy took them all to his favorite restaurant, in order to show it off. However, things became uncomfortable when Jim Bob sputtered a bit, not able to pursue normal conversation.
Jeremy was forthright and straight about giving his opinion on the meeting. He said that he found the interaction most strange, unlike the other spouses of Jill Dillard, Jessa Seewald, and Josh Duggar. He just spoke what he felt.
That is why the fans find the show so interesting - one man's straight talk, contrasted to his family's weird moral guidelines, looks totally unfit for the current winds of change blowing about in the world.
