‘Frozen 2’ Update: Theme song delays production, Elsa teased as lesbian in the sequel

Five years after the success of Frozen, fans are anticipating for the film's sequel. Lately, a reason has been revealed for the delay of the production and the plan of the team in making Elsa a lesbian in the next sequel.

When Frozen was released in cinemas five years back, it immediately captured the heart and attention of all, not only the kids. Along with the film's success was the undeniable accomplishment of its song, "Let it Go." It became a hit and household song for almost everybody including kids.

Now that Frozen 2 will hit cinemas soon, much is expected on the sequel. The fans want to know the reasons what took the production team so long in filming Frozen 2.

According to Fab News, Kristen Bell, who played Elsa in the highest-grossing animated film of all time, relayed the reason in the delay of the production of the sequel. It has something to do with the theme song.

Kristen shared that the team is putting all their efforts and best to come up with a theme song for the sequel that could surpass "Let it Go."

Apart from that, the production team is also putting everything to perfect Frozen 2. They have already found the way on how to come up with a sequel that will be more engaging and captivating which could surpass the first instalment.

Meanwhile, as reported on Hollywood Life, Idina Menzel shared to Miley Cyrus, who temporarily replaced Ellen in the talk show, that there is an on-going campaign to make Elsa a lesbian in the upcoming Frozen 2. When asked about her opinion on this, she did not turn down the possibility because she, herself, finds the idea cool and different.

With the upcoming Frozen 2, rumored to be released in 2018, are the fans ready for a different Elsa? Would its theme song surpass "Let it Go"?
