Taking a jibe at Alicia Machado earlier this week, Trump referred to the beauty queen as 'Miss Piggy' after she, in his words, "gained a massive amount of weight." Hillary Clinton had raised questions over the comment during the first phase of the presidential debate on Monday .
Machado is a Venezuela born American actress and model who won the Miss Universe pageant in 1996, shortly after Trump became executive producer of the contest.
Trump also put allegations on Hillary of helping her in securing U.S. citizenship.
Machado has been working with the Clinton campaign this year and did recently become a citizen and will vote against Trump. But there is no evidence that Clinton's campaign had anything to do with her citizenship. Later in the morning, Clinton responded Trump by calling him "unhinged" and said his treatment of Machado was unwarranted.
Meanwhile, a new NBC poll suggests that since the TV debate Donald Trump has lost support with women voters.
Recently, Michelle Obama had also criticised Trump for being insensitive towards women.
The Republican presidential nominee "traffics in prejudice, fears and lies" and consistently insults women, said Michelle during a rally for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton in Philadelphia.
