Last week, a thread on Reddit revealed that Netflix would be removing more than 90 titles from their movie library at the beginning of 2014. Between January 1 and January 4 certain movies like "Do the Right Thing," "Titanic" and "Flashdance" will no longer be available.
Now that same Reddit thread says the video streaming service is getting ready to add about 26 new movies to its collection, Business Insider reports. The new titles range from cult classics like "American Psycho" to 90s throwbacks like "Good Burger."
Netflix has been making a lot of changes recently. Besides removing and adding new movies the company is also experimenting with new monthly plans. Last week, Netflix announced a cheaper monthly plan for new customers that would allow them to join for only $6.99 a month. The new Single User plan, which is $1 cheaper than the regular $7.99 plan, would allow viewers to watch content in standard definition on a single screen. The regular plan offers high definition content that can be viewed on two screens.
The company is also beginning to test a method that would charge more money for accounts with multiple users.
