Virginia Man, Aaron Vierimaa, Charged With Obstruction Of Justice After Wife Found Fatally Shot

A Virginia man was charged with obstruction of justice after his wife was found fatally shot in their home on Wednesday, WUSA9 reported.

After responding to the Springfield home around 6 p.m. following reports of gunfire, police were unable to get inside the house despite knocking on the door and making phone calls to the residence.

Authorities then called in for additional help and finally got inside three hours later where they discovered 41-year-old Serena Hansken-Vierimaa shot dead.

Officials eventually came across the woman's husband, Aaron Vierimaa, 41, who was not injured. He was charged with obstruction of justice.
