According to a recent report, fans are still hopeful that Han Solo will return to the "Star Wars" universe, even though he died in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." Rumors also indicate that the Yoda will make an appearance in the upcoming "Star Wars: Episode 8" as the Force's ghost, which also sparks speculation that Han Solo make reappear too.
In an interview with Jimmy Kimmel during "Jimmy Kimmel Live" in March, Ford teased a possibility of his return when in the new "Star Wars" film, even though it seems unlikely as Han Solo was never the Force's wielder. When Kimmel asked in the interview if Han Solo will never be seen in "Star Wars" franchise again or any other movie for the matter, Ford shot back, "Who said that?" and added, "Who made you the boss?"
He was also asked if his character will make a comeback in the "Star Wars" universe, Ford pretended to lock his lips and throw away the imaginary key. Even though Ford's silence and teasers certainly gives the fans a positive sign, but it is also possible that Ford is simply messing around with his fans.
Regardless, the fans are hoping that "Star Wars: Episode 8" will in some capacity get Han Solo back, even if it is in the form of flashbacks.
Fans must note that Harrison Ford's return to the show has not been confirmed by the franchise and that the news should be taken with a grain of salt.
