Verizon leaks Google Pixel, Pixel XL feaures ahead of Oct. 4 launch

Verizon Wireless leaked out Google Magic and blue color as features of Google Pixel and Pixel XL few hours before its much- awaited launch on Oct. 4.

The revelation of these additional bits of info on the latest Google smartphones were posted on the website of the largest wireless telecommunications provider in the U.S., Verizon. It confirmed earlier reports by the Canadian carriers Bell and Telus that apart from the black and white model choices, a blue variant would also come along.

It also highlighted what it calls "Google Magic" which is likely to be a front-and-center implementation of Google Assistant. It could "just be the site's own marketing ploy, but could also refer to a new, unknown feature," reported Gadgets 360.

Another features of the device is its storage choices of either 32GB or 128GB, according to The Verge.

In another leak made by the Carphone Warehouse, Google Pixel is reported to have resolutions of 1080p and QHD resolutions respectively.

Google Pixel and Pixel XL almost have the same specs, with their difference noted on the its screen that measures 5 inches (1080 x 1920 pixels) and 5.5 inches (1440x2560 pixels )

Google Pixel has an Amoled display and powered by a 2.15 GHz quad-core Snapdragon and a RAM of 4GB.

Google Pixel XL, on the other hand, has Quad HD display and Glass 4 on top.

Both models have an 8 -megapixel front camera and 12- megapixel rear camera. They also come with 4G LTE support, Gadgets 360 added.

According to this same source, Pixel and Pixel XL will operate on Android 7.1 Nougat with Pixel Launcher.

Pixel and Pixel XL will most probably come out preloaded with the Allo and Duo, the latest apps from Google. A statement from Carphone Warehouse disclosed that storage for photos and videos for these two smartphones are unlimited.

With the leaks from Verizon and other telecommunication providers, who wouldn't be interested to get a hold of Google Pixel and Pixel XL, as soon as they get launched on October 4?
