The new Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus specs have been leaked. Reports say that the new tablet will boast 3GB RAM, 8-inch Full-HD display, 32GB and 64GB storage options and supports microSD.
Lenovo Tab3 8 Plus is going to be much likely its predecessor, the Tab3 8 (released in February), but will have notable upgrades. Aside from the HD display and the enhanced RAM, leaks said that the Plus will have an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 5MP front camera. It will also feature an LTE, 4G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity.
The new tablet will have a more powerful processor compared to the previous model. The new model will have an Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor against the quad-core MediaTek of Tab3 8. The 8 Plus' processor is made based on "a superior 14nm process," as reported by GSM Arena.
The 8 Plus is reported to carry a 4,300mAh battery same with the Galaxy J7 that scored 101 hours in endurance test. So it is not impossible for the Plus model to hit the same score.
The new model also boasts a higher resolution according to leaks. It is said that it will have 1920x1200 pixels compared to 1280x800 pixels of the older model. The Lenovo's 8 Plus is said to be powered by Android 6.0 Marshmallow. But since Google released the Android 7.0 Nougat, it is possible that Lenovo's new tablet features the latest operating system.
The Tab3 8 Plus is reportedly weights 330 grams and 7.97mm thick. The older model - which is also LTE-equipped - costs $149 so it is expected that the latest tablet will cost a little higher.
A report from the International Data Corporation said that the international tablet market has declined at the second quarter of 2016. However, economic tablets are still attracting consumers, TechTimes reported.
Moreover, Lenovo has not officially release any information about its new Tab3 8 Plus. Customers will still have to wait for the official announcements from the company.
