Rapper Ludacris revealed through court documents obtained by TMZ that he just welcomed a new baby - and the mother isn't his girlfriend Eudoxie Agnan. This revelation comes right on the heels of Dwyane Wade making a very similar announcement.
According to the site, Ludacris, real name Chris Bridges, and his longtime girlfriend took a break at the beginning of 2013, which was around the same time he hooked up with the baby's mother, Tamika Fuller. Reportedly Luda and Fuller have known each other since high school.
Fuller gave birth to the rapper's baby, a girl named Cai Bella Bridges on Dec. 9. This is second child for Luda who has an 11-year-old daughter named Karma from a previous relationship.
According to TMZ, the 36-year-old wants to pay child support but only up to a certain amount a month.
"It seems Ludacris knows he's the daddy, but he's worried Tamika will go for the kill," TMZ writes. "So he's filed legal docs claiming he's only pulling $25,842.41 a month on average."
Whether Luda really does only bring in about $26,000 a month is another issue but under Georgia law, his monthly child support payments would be around $1,7000 a month, TMZ reports pointing out that Forbes listed the rapper as having a net worth of $12 million.
On Dec. 30, news broke that Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade had recently welcomed a son by a woman named Aja Metoyer. According to TMZ, she gave birth to Wade's son Xavier Zechariah Wade on Nov. 10, six weeks before he asked Gabrielle Union to marry him.
Wade acknowledged that he had a new son but said he and Union were on a break at the beginning of the year around the time the baby would have been conceived. There are reports that Union and Wade were still together at the beginning of the year.
"In our time apart, in our break, in our pain and our hurt, a blessing came out of it in my life, having a son who was born healthy," he said during a basketball press conference.
Sources told E! News that Union knew about the baby before accepting the athlete's proposal.
