There's a TENAA certification on Moto device by Lenovo being prepared for launch. TENAA is a smartphone certification portal where all releases will be upcoming shortly.
The phone, supposedly named "Moto M", has passed the certifications and could be exclusively launched for the Asian markets and could be manufactured by Lenovo and not Motorola. Lenovo saw its fair share of the smartphone market with some amazing phones for all price-segments for this year from Moto Z to Moto E3.
A recent image from TechDroider revealed "Moto M" supposedly running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with a model name XT1662.The front side of the device however has a selfie camera along with some sensors and an ear-piece at the top.
The phone size reportedly looks to be somewhere in the sizes of 5.0- to 5.5-inch. The report also revealed that it will be a full-HD display, which also comes with an on-board storage of 32GB powered by 4GB of RAM.
The rumors speculate it to have a MediaTek chipset clocked at 2.1ghz. However, there's no word on the exact chip model. Alongside, no information whether or not the storage can be expanded. The phone does have a camera at the rear with the front-camera capable of taking 8MP photos.
The battery information reveals it has a 3000mAh capacity, enough to power the phone for a whole day considering it's a full HD 5.5ish inch display. As of now, there's no official information on whether this phone is due to marketing or just a testing unit only.
However, considering the specifications and the look of the phone, we can fairly assume that it's for mid-range consumer budget friendly smartphone that can fairly see its share of sales in the market.
The only thing we have to see is whether the Asian markets will accept the phone considering it's manufactured by Lenovo which some people are not really into appreciating Lenovo made smartphones.
For the moment, it seems that the Moto M might see its release shortly but just in the Asian markets for now.
