Android 7.0 Nougat update now available for Motorola smartphones

Google released its update version of Android recently to boost compatible smartphones. Andorid 7.0 Nougat boomed by Google is taken up by the smartphone manufacturers in a faster pace to feed in their makes. Tech giants like Motorola, Samsung, Sony, and many more are in a race to boast their smartphones and sales in the tech market.

According to Tech Times, Motorola mentioned the list of its smartphones that will get the new Android 7.0 Nougat update. The fourth generation Moto G, Moto G Plus and Moto G Play, the third edition of Moto X Pure Edition, Moto X Force, Moto X Play, Moto X Style, Droid Maxx 2, Droid Turbo 2, Moto Z, Moto Z Play, Moto Z Droid and Moto Z Play Droid ready to get the Android 7.0 Nougat OS update.

It is reported that Motorola has a special mentioning for the Google Nexus 6 in the list of smartphones to receive Android 7.0 Nougat update. The first in the list was the Moto Z and Moto G fourth generation models which are likely to get Android 7.0 Nougat update during Q4 2016.

Recently launched Motorola smartphone like the Motorola Moto G 2015 variant and the Motorola Moto E3 Power 2016 are not in the list and the company is not willing to provide the Android 7.0 Nougat update.

The official period of Android 7.0 Nougat entering into the Motorola's smartphone is not announced yet by the company.

It was reported that Google not only rolled out Android 7.0 Nougat OS, but also boomed in the tech market with its new smartphones Pixel and Pixel XL recently. The released smartphones Google Pixel and Pixel XL with the Android 7.1 Nougat OS provides tougher competition for the other rival smartphone manufacturers as the features in the Android OS of Pixel and Pixel XL are made only for the Google devices.
