In the course of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's divorce, Pitt was accused for child abuse after he reportedly hit his son Maddox while boarding a private jet. But he's finally out of the case as the FBI found no concrete evidence to prosecute him.
It was reported that a physical altercation took place inside a private jet carrying Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt and their children. The incident, according to some sources, showed Pitt hitting his son Maddox after a heated argument between Pitt and Jolie. The altercation started with Pitt shouting at his son.
However, according to a report from HNGN, Jolie doesn't want Pitt to be prosecuted for the sake of their children. She even added that she won't cooperate in the investigation if Pitt will be charged. It seems like Angelina's wants have been taken into regard.
According to TMZ, the LA County Department of Children and Family Services took the case and look into the possibility of Pitt physically abusing Maddox but they turned the case to the Los Angeles Police Department, which turned over the probe to the FBI.
The law enforcement sources claimed that the FBI did not actually open an official investigation to study the case. The bureau, according to some sources, is still in the process of gathering facts.
The report even added that Maddox was not even injured and that there was no conclusive evidence to prove that Pitt deliberately inflicted harm on his son.
Now that Brad Pitt will not be prosecuted anymore by the FBI on the child abuse case, what could really prompted Jolie in filing the divorce?
