After a little less than eight months of dating, the famous actor shared that he is hoping to get married to his Kat very soon.
According to a source close to Hollywood, the couple were talking about getting married and having kids together.
"They are in love and happier than ever. [Orlando] would like to get engaged to [Katy] before the year is up," the source said.
The "Pirates of the Caribbean" actor and the popular singer were in relationship since they met during the 73rd Golden Globes after party last January. Katy Perry was spotted very close to Orlando Bloom. They were inseparable and whispering something happy while dancing all night, according to curious paparazzi.
After the fun, the couple were seen leaving the party together, which of course fueled rumors that fans are getting a new Hollywood couple. Back then, none of them want to comment anything on the issue.
Since then, their relationship has been beautiful, full of romantic trips - Hawaii, Cannes, Hillary Clinton rallies, and most recently a memorable paddle boarding trip around Sardinia where Bloom paraded nude around the open seas.
Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry are pretty head-over-heels for each other and a wedding might finally be on the horizon.
"He would love to settle down with Katy and have more kids. He hasn't been this serious about a girl since Miranda," the source said with reference to his ex-wife Miranda Kerr.
The couple were harassed with breakup rumors in the past, after Orlando was spotted with Selena Gomez in Las Vegas. The minor snag seems to be just a glitch on their relationship radar, as the couple has been seen getting closer as days pass by.
What about Katy's thoughts on the proposal? The 31-year-old star pop singer appears to be pumping the breaks a bit more than her British boyfriend.
"She's not going to rashly make a huge commitment like marriage again unless she thinks it's absolutely right," a friend close to the singer said.
Both have been married once - Bloom ended his marriage to former Victoria angel and one of the most beautiful women in the world, Miranda Kerr, with whom he has a five-year-old son, while Katy has been a long time recovering from divorce from comedian Russell Brenda, who is known in Hollywood as an addict of sex, so it is not necessary to emphasize further what led to the collapse of their marriage in 2011, according to The Daily Mail.
