It comes as a surprise that OnePlus has never ever released "plus" variant OnePlus 3 Plus in to the smartphone markets. While the only unique addition to their releases, it was the OnePlus X which was pretty much a intermediate between the OnePlus One and the OnePlus Two.
After the successful release of their current flagship OnePlus 3, it's now being heard that there will be a successor to it which wouldn't be a fourth generation OnePlus phone but it would rather be named something else.
Named the OnePlus 3 Plus, it would supposedly be a larger variant of the current OnePlus 3. According to a PhoneArena reported that a specific user has hinted about the same though a public forum which we couldn't verify.
Pan Jiutang, who's behind the information apparently, is an analyst who revealed the info about the news. Now, this is pretty much legitimate since an earlier GeekBench leak opened up about a new name called "OnePlus 3 mini" which the CEO of OnePlus Carl Pei was quick enough to bring an end to the same.
As of now, the site reports that there is absolutely no other information available in terms of hardware. The only thing that's revealed is the fact the screen size would be 6-inches in size which seems like it's not the right choice if your palms are small as you can imagine.
However, Pan's info reveals that the screen resolution of OnePlus 3 Plus might be 2K(1440p). Pretty obviously known; a bigger screen will consume a lot of battery. That is why PhoneArena estimates that this new phone might see an increase in battery capacity by an additional thirty percent pushing up the size up to a solid 3900mAh.
If all these reports are to be put into a single factor, it seems like this would be an answer from OnePlus to rival the now defunct Samsung Galaxy Note 7 which exploded crazy for some users. This also included a flyer who was quickly instructed to shut it down due to external dangers.
While OnePlus are yet to open up themselves on this new OnePlus 3 Plus, smartphone enthusiasts are to consider the same as rumours and not an exact information of the same.
