More Miley Cyrus-Beyonce Controversies! 'Wrecking Ball' Was Originally Written For Beyonce?

As the "reported" cold war between Miley Cyrus and Beyonce continues, new reports have it that Cyrus' recent hit "Wrecking Ball" was originally written for the "Drunk in Love" singer.

Miley Cyrus and Beyonce seem to have started the year in a "not so friendly" way. Just when rumors of Cyrus dissing Beyonce on Twitter that went viral on the internet were being put to rest, new reports have ignited yet another controversy between the two singers.

According to a Radar Online report, Cyrus' hit single "Wrecking Ball" was originally written for Beyonce but as the song progressed, writers felt that it wouldn't work for the "Single Ladies" singer.

Rumors were first started in 2012 when song writer Sacha Skarbek took to his Twitter account to post a strange tweet and left a lot of questions unanswered.

"Beyonce song now becoming a Miley Cyrus song?!! Good/bad? I don't know??!!!!" he said.

At that time, it wasn't clear which song Skarbek was referring to. However, media critics speculate that it was indeed "Wrecking Ball" because the writer was penning the lyrics to this number when he sent out the tweet. The writer's rep also confirmed that though Skarbek was in a "writing session" for Beyonce, "Wrecking Ball" evolved, which was definitely not a "Beyonce" track.

"Wrecking Ball was not written for Beyoncé. Originally, the [songwriting session between Dr. Luke and Sacha] was booked to write a song for Beyoncé. But as the song progressed, the songwriters realized the song would not work for her," the tabloid quoted the rep as saying.

Good or bad???? It was definitely a good move as the song did wonders for Cyrus' career and surely wouldn't have suited Beyonce. Cyrus nailed the song and its success was the talk of tinsel town. The music video surpassed 100 million views in just six days and topped the Billboard charts.

While it may have been the right move for Skarbek, was taking the song a right move for Cyrus? If reports are to be believed, this song was partially responsible for the "twerking" queen's breakup with fiancé Liam Hemsworth. A previous Hollywood Life report suggested that it was because the "Hunger Games" actor couldn't handle Cyrus' "Wrecking Ball" success; he decided to end things with her.

Earlier this week, Hollywood Life quoted Cyrus as saying that the "Grow Woman" singer was at the top of her game but since she's been out of the spotlight for a while now, the "Last Song" actress can dethrone her.

"Beyonce has been a big inspiration to me but she's been out for such a long time. She's so talented and I think she's at the top of the game now but people are always looking for new blood and that's what I bring to the game now, new blood," the tabloid had quoted Cyrus as saying in a March 2014 issue of Love Magazine, according to an earlier HNGN report.

Cyrus immediately took to her Twitter account to clarify that the news was fabricated and she had said no such thing.

"Don't worry, getting to the bottom of this s***," Cyrus tweeted. "Making the liar retract the statement. [You] can cause ALOT of drama but NOT between me & B!"

We believe you Cyrus! Considering Hollywood Life has removed the article that reported the controversial statement.

Love Magazine also confirmed Cyrus had never made any such statement.

"@MileyCyrus never said anything to us about Beyonce, the quotes were made up and we're trying to get to the bottom of where this came from," the magazine tweeted.
