After Angelina Jolie, it is now Nicole Kidman's turn to follow the divorce route. The 'Lion' actress is reportedly planning to file for a divorce from husband Keith Urban, to put an end to their marital woes.
Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban divorce rumors are swirling around and it is being said that the couple is considering going their separate ways, reports Movie News Guide. The 'Moulin Rouge' actress is looking to file the case, just after the awards season ends. She is currently busy in her work and promoting the film 'Lion' that is expected to fetch her an Oscar in the coming year.
Notably, the two have been facing troubles in their marriage for a long time but this year, the tension became apparent when Kidman was seen alone at the promotion of her film at BFI London Film Festival. Urban was missing at the Toronto Film Festival as well and the twin no-shows set tongues wagging. The divorce rumors gained more fire when Urban made a negative statement of sorts regarding their marriage, referring to it as a learning curve.
Speaking of Keith Urban, the country singer too seems to be ready for divorce as he feels that he is living under the dictatorship of his wife, claims Hall of Fame. According to the magazine, he and Kidman think that a split is the only solution to their conjugal troubles. He is reportedly not willing to undergo couple therapy as suggested by his wife and willing to call it quits as Kidman's alleged insecurity is driving him crazy.
It may be noted here that earlier reports had surfaced that Kidman keeps a check on his phone and her control freak nature has led to bitter fights between the two. It is said that one fight led to him leaving home and even Urban admitted to having blow-out brawls. Still, they were trying to make things work but now his patience has reached a breaking point.
