Rose McGowan Witnesses Knockout Attack, Police Do Not Investigate the Crime

Actress Rose McGowan claims she witnessed a knockout attack in Venice Beach, Los Angeles , January 2, while out with a friend.

She tweeted that an "evil guy" boxed a 65-year-old man and then took off, reported Hollywood Gossip. She said that the incident was "awful." "I just witnessed a 65 year old man get punched by an evil guy playing that goddamn knockout game," she said. "#criminal #heartbroken #whattheF?!"

The 40-year-old 'Charmed' actress said that the attacker wore a mask and was on a skateboard. Rose further said that she tried to chase the assailant but he was just "too fast." She also clicked a photo of the attacker to help police with their investigation.

"@rosemcgowan Bleeding from the ear. Called an ambulance for him. His little dog tried to protect. :(" Rose tweeted. The actress was with the old man till he received medical help.

One of Rose's Twitter followers praised her referring to the magical powers her character has on 'Charmed.' "I bet this is one of those times you wished you actually had Paige's powers. Make that dirt bag pay," the follower said. To this she simply replied, "Right!"

So far, the attacker has not been identified. According to Hollywood Reporter, the LA Police Department will not investigate the matter. "We haven't located an incident. It was actually the media who alerted us to this, but we can't find anything," Lt. Mark Day told Hollywood Reporter. "There's no investigation until somebody comes forward. We need to make contact with a victim."
