As the flimflam for the upcoming American blockbuster is on the rise, speculations regarding the action filled marvel "Fast and Furious 8" are at the pinnacle.
Last week, Vin Diesel took it to his official Facebook page and rendered even more enthusiasm for the "Fast and Furious" fanatics as he confirmed that the official trailer for "Fast 8" will be out on Dec. 11, this year.
The eight instalment is definitely going to be a unique episode as the presence of Helen Mirren has rendered jaw-dropping responses.
Her presence in the instalment's cast was undoubtedly a bitter pill to swallow as fans would have never expected her to play a part in the adrenaline-packed, action based blockbuster. Having dazzled in Red and Red 2 as Victoria Winslow, she is all set to adapt to a genre totally different from her personality.
According to her interview with Variety, Hellen Mirren established that she's always had a "secret hankering" to be in the "Fast and Furious 8" instalment as she is totally hooked up to action involving cars and race cars driving. She even highlighted that she is probably one of the few people who has the knack to drive a gear shift car.
In terms of her role in "Fast and Furious 8," she won't be joining the team behind the wheels, but she is expected to have a connection with Deckard Shaw, played by Jason Statham. In the previous instalment of 'Fast and Furious 7', he was put behind the bars.
It is possible that Helen Mirren will be playing Deckard Shaw's mother. Or she might be involved with guns, loads of action and racing cars, or it might be possible that she will be seen adapting to the roles of a government spy or an agent.
Aside Mirren,' Fast and Furious 8' will see Elsa Pataki, Nathalie Emmanuel, Michelle Rodriguez, Charlize Theron and Jordana Brewster.
"Fast and Furious 8" will hit the screens on April 14, 2017.
