Trade rumor is swirling around San Francisco 49ers involving QB Colin Kaepernick nowadays. After being back as the starting QB against the Buffalo Bills two days ago, they were badly beaten by the Bills 45-16. The reason for the loss was blamed to Kaepernick's lackluster performance showing only 1TD in 187 yards passing.
The loss is their fifth straight after only winning their opening game against the Los Angeles Rams. Now, holding a record of 1-5 tied for the last place in the NFC Division, it seems that the 49ers management is looking for ways to turn around their fortunes.
According to Sportsrageous, the 49ers team confirmed last Wednesday that they streamlined Kaepernick's contract heating up the rumor that he will be traded soon. The new deal will make Kaepernick become an unrestricted free agent after the 2016 NFL season.
The report also says that Kaepernick will also have the option to bolt out on the final four years of his contract with the 49ers or join another team if he will not be given more playing time by SF 49ers head coach Chip Kelly. If ever he'll be traded, many teams are now on the list as a possible destination for Kaepernick.
The Indianapolis Colts, Seattle Seahawks, Los Angeles Rams, Cleveland Browns, and New Orleans Saints are some teams who shows interest on Kaepernick as per stated in the report. Though the Colts and Seahawks seem to be in the forefront to acquire his services, it still speculation as of this moment.
On the separate report by The Inquisitr, the most logical team for Kaepernick if ever traded are the Rams or the Browns. Many say that he could start both for Rams and Browns as both teams are also struggling to perform this season.
The report also says that trading for Kaepernick is worth the risk as he has the potential to become an offensive firepower in the end. Although he's been criticized for his continuous protest against racial concern in the US by kneeling during the national anthem, a talent like him cannot be pass on by other teams.
Will the San Francisco 49ers deal Colin Kaepernick to other teams in viable trade proposal?
