Google Android Wear 2.0 Smartwatches: GPS, LTE, Google Assistant Launch in Q1 2017

Google seems to have taken the year 2016 seriously with an aim of releasing its own products into the tech market. Latest smartphone developments from Google, Pixel and Pixel XL are booming the tech market. New Android 7.0 Nougat operating system from Google is also major development which the tech giants are in a race.

Now, the recent reports indicated the Google's ne development in the smartwatch segment with Android Wear 2.0. The new leaks, as reported in the Science World Report, indicate that the tech market leak specialist Evan Blass has tweeted on the new Android Wear 2.0 smartwatches with an indication of launch to be in Q1 of 2017.

The Google new Android Wear 2.0 smartwatches is codenamed as Angelfish and Swordfish reportedly. It is reported that the Angelfish and Swordfish smartwatches are expected to feature Android Wear 2.0 update and support LTE/GPS connectivity.

The reports also depict that the Google new Android Wear 2.0 smartwatches is expected to have Google Assistant which is currently made available by Google in its new smartphones Pixel, Pixel XL and Google Home.

A quick overview was reported on the Google's new Android Wear 2.0 smartwatches, Angelfish and Swordfish. The Angelfish smartwatch is expected to have a 43.5mm titanium-coloured shell with three buttons on board likely to be provided for voice commands to the new Google Assistant features. The Angelfish smartwatch is expected to have both GPS and LTE connectivity.

The Swordfish smartwatch is expected have 42mm diameter, 10.6mm thickness shell with a crown button at the top. It is reported that the Swordfish is similar to Android wear without GPS and Cellular connectivity.

The Google new Android Wear 2.0 smartwatches Angelfish and Swordfish are likely to be launched by Q1 of 2017.
