2017 Tesla Model S attracts not just EV buyers

Tesla manufactures electric vehicles and it has become very famous lately. This company has been founded by Elon Musk whose goal is to promote electric vehicles and change completely the world as we know it today.

As we know, we depend a lot on oil and this is the cause of many problems but changing to electric vehicles would be a whole revolution for the planet and the environment. It would change the economies of many countries too. There would be a new balance of power, with winners and losers.

One of the products of the car company, the Tesla Model S, looks like a great electric vehicle (EV) but it seems that this product isn't attracting just buyers of electric cars.

This vehicle is seen by many as a luxurious one, not like a normal EV model and it has begun to attract people who used to buy luxurious traditional cars. As we can see, a new segment of the market is being conquered by the EV company.

And the numbers are very clear: Last year the car manufacturer produced 50,000 cars and this year plans to produce 80,000. Its goal is reach 500,000 units in 2018. Its market value is about $29 billion.

The third quarter has been great for the Tesla Model S because its sales were 59% higher than the same time of the previous year.

Clearly, Tesla is gaining economic muscles and its output of vehicles is growing exponentially.

Quantity and quality go hand in hand, the luxurious Tesla Model S is so appealing to the customers that this electric vehicle has been able to beat models like the BMW 7 Series, Mercedes-Benz S-Class as well as the Audi A8.

Is it the beginning of a golden era for customers and a nightmare for traditional car companies? At least, no more oil crisis if this keeps advancing !
